Description
White House is a late 18th-century building, with the western part rebuilt. It is constructed of hammer stone and features quoins, topped with a pitched stone slate roof. The building has two storeys.
On the south elevation, the ground floor includes one recessed 6-light stone mullioned window with a flush king mullion. The first floor has two recessed 3-light stone mullioned windows. The western part, which has been newly rebuilt, contains a 3-light window on each floor.
The east gable has an entrance with a stone surround and tie-stones, although this is blocked. There is also a single-storey lean-to extension.
On the north elevation, the ground floor features two 2-light stone mullioned windows, with some rebuilding evident. The first floor has one 2-light stone mullioned window and a later single light. In the rebuilt western part, the ground floor has one 5-light window, while the first floor has one 2-light window and one single light.
