Description

The Hill is a building that was rebuilt in 1842, as indicated by a datestone on the north elevation. It is constructed of hammer dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof that is covered in bitumen. The building has two to three storeys.

On the south elevation, the ground floor includes a doorway with a stone surround and one four-light stone mullioned window. The first floor has one six-light stone mullioned window. The north elevation features two two-light stone mullioned windows on the second floor. Additionally, at the first floor level, there is a triangular plaque, which may be a former door lintel that has been re-set, bearing the inscription:
