Description

Old High Laithe Farmhouse is a house dated 1829, constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. The building features quoins and is two storeys high, consisting of two cells. The centrally placed doorway has tie-stone jambs, and above it is a plaque inscribed with the word "Rebuilt." The flat-faced mullioned windows date from 1829, with two windows of four lights and five lights on the ground floor, and four-light and six-light windows on the first floor. To the right, there are paired doorways for farm purposes, and there are two stacks on the ridge.
