Description
New High Laithe Farmhouse and attached barn is an early 19th-century laithe-house constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. The building features quoins and stands two storeys tall, comprising two cells. The south front displays widely spaced flat-faced mullioned windows with four lights, along with a narrower window of six lights above. To the left of a three-light window, there is a doorway with a sill-tie, and a four-light window is positioned above on the first floor. The farmhouse has a gable stack and another stack at the division between the barn and the house. The barn includes a segmental arched cart entry with a Venetian window above it, and there is a mistal doorway located at the right end.
