Description
Calf Lee Farmhouse is a late 18th-century laithe-house constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and features a single-cell layout. The farmhouse has mullioned windows with three lights on both floors. A gabled porch provides protection for the door entry. To the right of the farmhouse is a barn that includes a segmental arched cart entry, with the right-hand skewback supported by a shouldered corbel, which is a curious and unusual arrangement. An addition is attached to the left end of the farmhouse, featuring a lower roof line and an outshut at the front. The rear of the building has two sash windows on the first floor and a single stack at the ridge.
