Description
Stubbins Farmhouse and Barn, dating from 1772, is constructed from hammer-dressed stone with quoins and features a pitched stone slate roof. The building is two storeys tall, with the north elevation showing a ground floor that includes two doorways with stone surrounds and tie-stones (one of which is in a modern porch), a three-light stone mullioned window, and a five-light stone mullioned window with a central sash. On the first floor, there are three three-light stone mullioned windows. The barn has a large central doorway with a semicircular arch and keystone inscribed with '1879', along with a small light above it. There is also a small doorway with a large stone lintel that bears the inscription 'T K M K 17 7 2', and a lean-to extension to the east.
