No. 17 Gate Head is an early 19th-century cottage that is part of a row of similar buildings. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. The rendered chimney has tabling. The cottage is two storeys high, with the south elevation displaying a three-light stone mullioned window on both floors.
