Description

A house, dating to 1789 as indicated by a datestone. The house is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with quoins. It has a pitched stone slate roof and stone brackets to the gutter. There are two chimneys with tabling. The west elevation has a ground floor entrance with a stone surround and tie-stones, above which is a large lintel inscribed "TK MK". The ground floor also contains a recessed six-light stone mullioned window and a recessed four-light stone mullioned window. The first floor features two recessed three-light stone mullioned windows and one recessed four-light stone mullioned window. The east elevation has a doorway with a stone surround, tie-stones, and a deep lintel, which is now partially blocked. A later pitched roof extension is present. The south gable has a single light with a stone surround to the attic.
