Description

SOWERBY BRIDGE LOWER MILL BANK ROAD SE 0221 & SE 0321 (west side), Mill Bank 17/121 - Fiddle Wood Cottage and cottage to south - II Pair of houses. Early-mid C19. Coursed squared stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys,left cottage with cellar, 2 bays each. Openings have plain stone surrounds, windows with flat-faced mullions. Fiddle Wood Cottage, on right: 4-panel door flanked by 2-light windows with single-light window to far right; two 2-light windows above; C20 4-pane casements throughout. Neighbouring cottage: basement has single-light window; on ground floor a 4-panel door to right of two 2-light windows; two 2-light windows above; all windows with 4-pane casements. 3 ridge stacks.
