Description

This is a house, originally dating to the 17th century, but significantly rebuilt in the late 19th or early 20th century. It is now divided into multiple occupancies. The building is constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with a stone slate roof. It has a U-shaped layout, with projecting gabled wings to the north, each featuring four-light, chamfered mullioned windows on both floors. The central block has paired doorways to the left of a five-light, double-chamfered mullioned window, and a doorway to the right with a chamfered surround. The first floor has a four-light double-chamfered window with arched lights, and a two-light window on either side. Attached to the west wing is a single cell with former three-light windows on each floor and a doorway with a chamfered surround. There are three chimney stacks. The house retains 17th-century mullioned windows.
