Description

Nos 22 and 24 Royd Lane are a pair of houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof with gable stacks. The buildings are two storeys high and have quoins. Each house has a doorway with monolithic jambs and a heavy lintel, positioned centrally, along with one bay of four-light flat-faced mullion windows on each floor. Due to the crossfall, the ground floor window on the right is longer and has been altered to only two lights.
