Description
The balustrade and steps lead to the private gardens on the south side of the road serving numbers 1 to 8 consecutively. This feature includes approximately 27 yards of balustrade on the west side of the road, starting from the junction with Parkfield Road. Built around 1880, the balustrade consists of long sections of stone with a cusped V pattern, which flanks a broad flight of stone steps descending into the private gardens of the aforementioned properties.
