Description
The balustrading and steps, located 30 meters east of the hot garden wall, were built around 1860 as a decorative feature opposite the segmental hot wall. The structure is approximately 40 meters long and made of white and cream limestone. It consists of five bays of low pierced balustrading, with a central flight of steps. Each bay is separated by a low square pier. The balustrading has openings near both ends for garden paths, and the piers are topped with a pair of vases that are enriched with swags.
