Description

This is a milestone located opposite number 2 Sunny Dale, dating from the late 19th century. It features a cast-iron triangular front with a rounded top, mounted on a stone post. The inscription in raised letters reads: "KEIGHLEY & DENHOLME ROAD DENHOLME DENHOLME KEIGHLEY 1 MILE (5 MILES) HALIFAX (7 MILES)." The stone post is partially buried.
