Description

Milestone located in front of Number 10 on Keighley Road in Steeton, dating from the mid-19th century. It features an arch-headed stone that is overlaid with cast iron and is triangular in section. The letters are in relief, with the top reading: "KEIGHLEY & KENDAL ROAD STEETON WITH EASTBURN." The left face indicates distances to Skipton and Keighley, while the right face includes distances to Settle, Addingham, and Kendal, although the latter is obscured.
