Description

This milestone, dating from around 1895, is made of millstone grit and features a cast iron front plate. The inscription on the milestone reads: "KEIGHLEY AND KENDAL ROAD SKIPTON SETTLE 10 ¾ MILES KEIGHLEY 4 ¾ MILES 22 MILES KENDAL 34 MILES."
