Description
This milestone, dating from around 1895, is made of millstone grit and features a cast iron front plate. It is inscribed with the following information: "KEIGHLEY AND KENDAL ROAD LONG PRESTON SKIPTON 11¾ MILES 3¾ MILES KEIGHLEY KENDAL 21 MILES 33 MILES."
