Description
Moorland View is a former pair of cottages that has been converted into a single house. It dates from the mid-18th century and features some alterations from the 19th century. The building is rendered with painted stone dressings and has a slate roof. It stands two storeys tall and has a double fronted design. The entrance is located to the right of the centre and has a moulded surround, a four-panel door, and a rectangular fanlight above it. Each storey has two windows with moulded surrounds, which are sashes with glazing bars. The building also has projecting quoins. There is a ridge stack on the right-hand gable end and another stack located to the right of centre. To the right of the main structure is a lower one-bay wing, which features a plain surround and a plank door at its entrance. The ground floor of this wing has a 20-pane fixed light window, while the upper floor has a smaller 6-pane fixed light window.
