Formerly one cottage, now 2. Early to mid C18 with late C19 and C20 alterations. Slobbered rubble brought to course, stone dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Paired central entrances have plain surrounds and c1980 doors. 2 ground floor windows: right hand 2-light flat faced mullioned with casements, left-hand similar but mullion now gone. 2 upper floor 3-light windows have moulded surrounds and flat faced mullions; casements and fixed lights. Ridge stacks at former gable ends. Bay to right of No 6 is C20 extension with ground floor garage entrance and small upper floor window. Howe Cottage is knocked through internally with one bay to the left of the gable end, into a formerly separate cottage.
