Description

Milestone, circa 1895. Made of millstone grit with a cast iron front plate. The inscription reads:

"KEIGHLEY A KENDAL ROAD HELLIFIELD SETTLE SKIPTON 6¾ MILES 8¾ MILES

KENDAL KEIGHLEY 36 MILES 18 MILES."
