Description

Milestone, circa 1890. This milestone is made from a round-headed slab of millstone grit and features a bolted cast iron front plate. The inscription on the plate reads: "SKIPTON & OTLEY ROAD DRAUGHTON ILKLEY SKIPTON 6¼ MILES 3 MILES OTLEY 12¼ MILES."
