Description
High Skibeden Farmhouse is an early 18th century and early 19th century building located on Harrogate Road. It is two storeys high with stuccoed stone walls and a stone flag roof. The entrance features a central Tuscan doorway with a pediment supported by engaged columns. There are two windows on the ground floor and three above, all of which are modern and set within plain stone architraves. The older part of the farmhouse is lower and has very thick stone walls, a new French window/door, one old window below, and two above with stone mullions consisting of three lights, featuring square and splayed mullions. At the rear, there is a round-headed stair window. Inside, the farmhouse includes a stone spiral staircase.
