Description

The Embsay Station Weighbridge Office is a former weighbridge office built in the late 19th century. It is constructed of snecked sandstone and features a hipped slate roof. The building is single storey and consists of one bay. The entrance is located at the gable end and includes a plank door. There is a left-hand eaves stack, and on the right-hand side, facing the former weighbridge, is a tripartite window. This window has a central 12-pane fixed light with flanking 8-pane fixed lights and a projecting sill. The office also has projecting eaves and is included in the listing for its group value.
