Description

The K6 telephone kiosk, designed around 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, is a standard model made of red painted cast iron. It has a square shape with a domed top and unperforated crowns on the top panels. This kiosk is located on the main street of Embsay village, next to a listed building and visible from several others, all within a conservation area and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Its position in a significant heritage location contributes to its importance.
