Description

Wheelam Kiln is a limekiln built around 1830. It is constructed from squared millstone grit rubble and measures approximately 8 metres wide and 5 metres tall. The front features a segmental curve. There are two stoke holes with segmental arches made of rubble voussoirs, which contain a pair of pits measuring about 2 metres by 4 metres by 2 metres.
