Description

Guidepost, dating from around 1740. It is made of millstone grit and stands approximately 1.2 metres tall. The post is square in section and features a segmental arched head. It is inscribed on two faces: the south face indicates directions to Skipton (3 miles) and Addingham (2 miles), while the west face points to Draughton (1 mile) and Silsden (3 miles).
