Description
Cowburn Beck Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is built of rubble brought to course, with the front rendered, and features a stone slate roof. The farmhouse has two storeys and a three-cell plan, with four windows on the first floor. The doorway has monolithic jambs and a rectangular fanlight, with a single window above it. Each floor contains three bays of two-light flat-faced mullioned windows, which have two-paned sashes. The gables are coped and have kneelers, and there are stacks, including one on the ridge positioned between the second and third cells.
