Description

Old Tower is a survey tower built between 1854 and 1860. It is constructed from coursed dressed rubble and has a circular shape with a battered base. The eastern face features a blocked doorway and a single lancet window above it. At the top, there are four rectangular windows, and it likely contains a spiral staircase. This tower was used in the construction of the Barden Aqueduct and is a prominent feature in the landscape.
