Description

This milepost, located approximately 200 metres east of the junction with Long Causeway, dates from the late 19th century. It features a cast-iron triangular front with a rounded top, mounted on a stone post. The inscription in raised letters reads: "KEIGHLEY & HALIFAX ROAD DENHOLME DENHOLME HALIFAX 1 MILE 6 MILES KEIGHLEY 6 MILES."
