Gate House White Cottage

Gate House White Cottage is a farmhouse, likely built in the early 18th century, with some alterations. The building features rendered walls and a stone slate roof, and it stands two storeys high. The central doorway is set within a 20th-century stone porch. To the left of the doorway, there is an 8-light double-chamfered window with a king-mullion. Above this window, on the first floor, is another 8-light window with recessed flat-faced mullions and a king-mullion. To the right, on the ground floor, is a doorway accompanied by a window, and on the first floor, there is a 2-light window with a flat-faced mullion. The building has moulded stone brackets supporting the gutter and brick gable stacks. There is a single-storey addition to the left, and the rear windows have been altered. The left gable apex features a blind lunette. The interior has not been inspected.
