Description
Annat Royd Farmhouse is a farmhouse with origins in the 17th century, which underwent significant alterations in the early 19th century. It features deeply-coursed stone construction and a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high with a symmetrical three-bay facade and quoins. The central doorway, located within a 20th-century lean-to porch, has a Tudor-arched lintel. On both floors, there are three-light flat-faced mullion windows to the left and right of the doorway. A rebuilt central stone stack is present. At the rear, there is an outshut to the right, a tiny chamfered light, and a two-light double-chamfered window where the mullion has been removed to the left. The right return features a small chamfered light on the ground floor, and there are remains of a hoodmould above a blocked first-floor window.
