Mausoleum. Dated 1845. Ashlar with surrounding stone piers and wooden fencing. Square on plan with batter. Plinth, banded rustication, modillioned cornice, triangular pediment the tympanum decorated with wreath and ribbons. Doorways with eared architrave set in east and west faces. 2-panelled oak doors with cast-iron grille, rectangular fanlight. The whole surmounted by large urn with corner blocks decorated with wreaths in their cardinal faces. Set in the north face is engraved tablet flanked by inverted torches. This has lettering in bold relief:- "ERECTED TO THE MEMORY OF GEORGE OATES GREENWOOD OF NETHERWOOD HOUSE, WHO DIED APRIL XXVI;MDCCCXLV, AGED XLVII YEARS" Other memorials on south face to William Greenwood and his wife Ann. Surrounding fencing has wooden uprights and crossmembers with St.Andrew's Cross set between. These are linked to dressed monoliths, square on plan, with arched heads and circles in relief on the cardinal faces. Entered by a gate to the east.
