House, now offices. c1848, with late C20 alterations. Brick with stone dressings and hipped slate roof with 2 side wall and 2 party wall stacks. Plinth, first floor band, modillion wooden eaves. 3 storeys; 3 x 3 windows. Front, to Upper Hanover Street, has central plain sash with moulded surround and cornice, flanked by single plain sashes with brick flat arches. Above, 3 smaller plain sashes, the central one with a moulded surround. C20 wooden doorcase with pilasters and pediment, flanked by single plain sashes. Right return, facing Glossop Road, has 3 plain sashes on each floor, the upper ones smaller. Below, moulded central stone doorcase and 4-panel door with overlight. To left, a plain sash. To right, a large square wooden bay window with 3 plain sashes. INTERIOR not inspected. Included for group value.
