Description
No. 36 Wilkinson Street is a house, now used as offices, dating from around 1850, with later alterations and additions from the late 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of brick, featuring stone and stucco dressings, and has a hipped slate roof with a single ridge and three side wall stacks. It has a plinth, a first-floor band, and modillion wooden eaves. Brick pilasters frame the projecting center and the corners of the building.
The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range. The central projection includes a single plain sash window. To the right is a similar sash window, while to the left is a 20th-century window. All windows have brick flat arches. The central entrance features a wooden doorcase with panelled pilasters and a dentilled cornice, leading to a half-glazed panelled door with a geometrical overlight. On either side of the entrance are canted wooden bay windows with dentilled cornices and plain sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
