Description
No. 26 Wilkinson Street is a house that has been converted into offices. It was built in the mid-19th century, with some alterations and additions made in the late 19th and late 20th centuries. The building is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof featuring two ridge stacks. It has a plinth, an incomplete first-floor band, and moulded wooden eaves. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range of plain sash windows. The central window has a moulded architrave, while the outer windows have brick flat arches. The entrance features a central Doric doorcase with a dentilled cornice, leading to a moulded six-panel door with a geometrical overlight. On either side of the entrance, there are canted wooden bay windows with dentilled cornices and three late 20th-century cross casements. The interior has not been inspected.
