Description
22 Wilkinson Street is a house that has been converted into offices. It was built around 1840, with additions made in the mid and late 19th century. The building is constructed of brick with stone details and has slate roofs featuring a single gable and a single ridge stack. It has a plinth, a first-floor band, a moulded wooden eaves cornice, and a single coped gable.
The house is two storeys tall and has five windows across its front. Most of the windows are 12-pane sashes with brick flat arches. The central window features a wooden eared and shouldered architrave. The entrance has a central Greek Doric doorcase with a pediment, leading to a late 19th-century half-glazed door with an overlight. To the left of the entrance are two 12-pane sashes with reglazed lower lights. To the right is a half-round brick bay window with a five-light wooden cross casement. Further to the right is a single-storey flat-roofed addition with a partly reglazed 12-pane sash.
Inside, there is a cantilever dogleg wooden stair with winders and stick balusters.
