Description

Two houses, built around 1850, forming numbers 80 and 82 Upper Hanover Street, Sheffield. The buildings are constructed of brick with stone dressings, and have slate roofs with three brick chimney stacks. A plinth and a band run along the front of the building. The two houses have a two-storey, six-window arrangement. The windows are 12-pane sashes with brick flat arches above. The second and fourth windows on the first floor have been replaced with louvred openings. Below, there are four windows, and at either end, steps lead to pilastered wooden doorcases with cornices. The doors themselves feature two round-headed glazed panels, each with an overlight above. The interior has not been inspected.
