Description

A pair of houses located on Tettenhall Road, built in the 1840s. The houses are constructed of brick with ashlar detailing and have a slate roof punctuated by brick stacks on the left end and in the centre. They follow a double-depth plan, standing three storeys high with a four-window facade. The facade features a first-floor sill course and a top modillioned eaves detail, along with brick end pilasters.

The ground floor incorporates a bay window on the left side featuring paired, horned sash windows, a brick cornice, and a hipped tile roof. A large, plastered canted bay window sits on the right side, with a 20th-century window inserted. The first floor has windows with rubbed brick flat arches containing a mix of windows: two 6-over-2-pane sashes, one 20th-century casement, and one 12-pane sash. The second floor has windows with 6-pane sashes.

The entrances are framed by brick pilasters and entablatures. Number 69 has an overlight above a three-panel door, while Number 71 features leaded glazing in a half-glazed door, also with an overlight. The interior has not been inspected. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
