Description
Two houses, now combined into one, were built in the late 18th century. The properties are constructed of brick with stone dressings, and have a slate roof, hipped on the right side, with brick stacks. The houses are three storeys high and have a three-window front. A top cornice runs along the top of the facade. The ground floor has canted bay windows with stone lintels and cornices above, featuring late 19th-century horned sashes with small panes in the upper sashes. The first floor has windows with rubbed brick flat arches above two late 19th-century sashes and one 12-pane sash. The second floor has two late 19th-century sashes and a 9-pane sash. A central, round-headed entrance is framed by a Doric aedicule (a decorative surround) with an open pediment, panelled reveals, and a glazed door. There is a gable-end stack and a cross-axial stack. The return side facing Upper Vauxhall has a round-headed entrance with flat pilasters and a pediment, which is now blocked.
