Cottages now 1 dwelling. C16/C17 core encased C18 with C19 and C20 additions. Some internal timber framing, coursed rubble limestone, pantile roof. L-shaped core with later additions. Roadside front: 2 storeys; 3 windows to 1st floor with wing projecting on left. Pantile-canopied part-glazed door to main range has 3-light casement with horizontal glazing bars on its right and 1-light casement beyond; 1st-floor casements of 1, 2 and 3 lights, all with horizontal glazing bars. Gabled wing on left has C20 casement to left of added external stack and a casement to each floor of right return. Roof hipped on right. T-sectioned brick stack to main ridge on left. Interior: central ground-floor room has transverse beam and stop-chamfered joists; bressumer beam with heck post and recess in position of a fire window; plain ashlar fireplace. 1st floor: wall posts and tie beam above bressumer; another wall post may indicate former framed cross-wing. Rear wing has an exposed principal-rafter truss with soffit mortices to cambered tie beam. 0
