Description
No. 19 York Road is an early 19th-century house constructed of pinkish-brown brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with three steps leading up to the main entrance. The entrance features a six-fielded-panel door with a patterned overlight, framed by a Doric doorcase that includes a frieze and a hood. There is an additional entrance at the end, which also has a six-fielded-panel door with a divided overlight set beneath a wedge lintel. The centre of the house features a full-height bow with tripartite sash windows, while the other windows are 16-pane sashes, all set under wedge lintels. The leftmost window is blind. A fall pipe with a decorative rainwater head is located to the left, and there are end stacks on the building.
