Description

No. 4 West Green is an early 19th-century building constructed of local reddish brick with stone dressings. It features a Welsh slate roof with brick end chimneys and a stone-coped gable end. The building stands two and a half storeys tall, with the top level designed as a single-pile, resulting in a pent roof that slopes towards the front. Architectural details include quoins, bands, and moulded eaves. The façade has two irregular bays, with a full-height round bow on the left side. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, although some have been replaced. The entrance features a six-panel door with an oblong fanlight, set within a doorcase that has slender half-columns.
