Description

Nos. 5 and 7 West Green are a pair of early to mid-19th century buildings with a core dating back to the 18th century. They present a symmetrical design. The exterior is roughcast, topped by a modern pantiled roof with bracketed eaves. Brick chimneys are situated centrally and at the end of the building. The property extends over two and a half storeys, displaying five windows. The top floor features Yorkshire lights in the first, third, and fifth bays. Other windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath gauged flat brick arches and stone sills. In the centre of the building, a pair of six-panel doors are accompanied by an oblong fanlight, sheltered by a flat hood supported on console brackets.
