Description

Numbers 1 and 3 West Green, which includes No 1 Leven Wynd, is an 18th-century building that has undergone some alterations. The structure was originally built with ashlar stone and features a stone plinth, but now has a roughcast finish. The roof is made of Welsh slate and includes a large ridge stack made of handmade brick, topped with eight octagonal corniced ceramic pots, as well as a partly-rebuilt chimney at the left end. The building has stone coping and a kneeler on the left side. It stands two and a half storeys tall and has three wide windows. While the doors and windows are mostly modern, there are a few reproduction sashes that include glazing bars.
