Description
No. 18 Church Street is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is built of painted brick and features a hipped Welsh slate roof with three painted brick lateral stacks. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range with 6/6 sash windows, the centre window being blocked, all set in moulded cases under segmental arches. The eaves are adorned with brick modillion detailing. The central entrance consists of a six-fielded-panel door with a plain fanlight, located in round-headed panelled reveals. This entrance is topped by a moulded and modillioned open pediment hood supported by pilasters, which have paterae on the entablature blocks. The entrance is flanked by additional 6/6 sash windows in moulded cases under segmental arches. The interior has not been inspected.
