Description
The Old Vicarage is a house located on Church Street in Leominster, built in the later 19th century. It features a stucco exterior and a Welsh slate roof with twin gables facing the street, along with four brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a cellar, with a three-window range that includes cross-windows with casements, all under hood mouldings. The barge-boards are pierced and scrolled, adorned with pendant finials.
The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door with a cambered head, set within a chamfered four-centred arch that has enriched spandrels and a hood moulding. This entrance is flanked by cross-windows and a small lancet window to the right. To the left, there is a wing that features a mullion and transom light under a hood moulding, along with a plank door and plank double doors that have a two-light casement above. The right side and rear wing also have cross-windows with hood moulding. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included for its group value.
