Description
30 and 32 York Road is a house, now a pair of houses, dating from the mid to late 18th century, with later additions and alterations including a rear extension. The building is constructed of pinkish-brown brick with red brick dressings and features a pantile roof. It has two storeys and two bays, with red brick quoins. The entrance to No 30 is located at the end and consists of a six-panel door with an overlight, while No 32 has a rear entrance. The ground floor of the building includes a 24-pane bow window, and the first floor has a bow window with a 20-pane sash. The remaining windows are 12-pane sashes, with the ground floor window set under an elliptical arch. There is an interrupted three-course band at the first floor level, a swept roof, and ridge stacks.
