Description

26 Park Road is a pair of houses located in Port Sunlight, built from brick with terracotta dressings and a timber-framed first floor, topped with tile roofs. The buildings are two stories high and consist of three bays, with the first bay recessed by one bay and featuring a gable. The first floor jetties out, and there are decorative bressumer and barge boards.

The windows are leaded casements, with the ground floor featuring two-light mullioned windows, while the third bay has a three-light canted oriel window. On the first floor, there are rectangular oriels with four and three lights, accompanied by two-light windows on either side of the first bay, and a three-light window in the third bay.

The entrances have doors with vertical strips and three leaded lights; the door to No. 26 has an elliptical head and hood, while the door to No. 1 features a decorated lintel. The left side of the building has a lateral stack with round shafts and a fire window in the first bay, followed by a four-light canted bay window. The second bay also has a canted bay window with the first floor jettied over it, a three-light window on the ground floor, and a four-light projecting window on the first floor. Additionally, there is a lantern on a wrought iron bracket at the angle of No. 26.
