THORNTON GREEN LANE SD 30 SW (south side) 6/142 Cross base and sundial at corner of Water Street ( formerly listed as cross [remains of] with stocks) G.V. II Base to cross with later sundial. Base possibly medieval, sundial possibly C18. Stone. 3 square steps with square- section baluster; metal plate and gnomon. Enclosed with stocks (q.v.) by C20 railings.
