Description
Edge Farmhouse is a house dating from the early to mid 19th century, which incorporates earlier fragments. It is constructed of limewashed brick and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of four bays, with the second bay projecting under a gable. The stone base supports the structure. The windows feature gauged brick flat arches and are sashed, with the first bay's windows including glazing bars. The entrance has a six-panel door and a trellis porch located at the third bay, with a small window above it. Inside, the farmhouse retains some cornices and doors, as well as several marble fireplaces. There is a 17th-century studded door leading to a stone room in the rear wing.
